A few weeks ago, we got word that my brother-in-law was not expected to live much longer. Other relatives were planning on visiting him in about a month, but my husband had the opportunity to go see him that very weekend.
So he and my son drove off to Virginia - my son had drill to attend; and my husband visited his oldest brother. It was a great time for both of them, although it was short because he was so weak.
Well, he passed away into his eternal rest this morning. While I am happy for him because he knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior, I grieve for our loss here on earth. My heart hurts for my husband's family - as this is their oldest sibling, and the first to leave.
